Hey Guys,

Today we're going back to southeast Asia going to go hit up Thailand. Where I was surprised how emo/hardcore was charting so high on myspace, especially Sweet Mullet. Bands like that and Ritalinn do a good job competing with the infectious pop scene in Thailand where we be seeing many many examples of.

Ki KiraTira who we see in the vdieo below reminds me of someone like Michelle Branch or Ashlee Simpson who tries to kind of have a rock edge for a rock appeal.

On you tube Bird Tong Chai is a punk act I saw pop up a few times here is a video of one of their songs.



Then there is Lydia who appears to be a very big R&B star getting play on MTV and such.



Thailand has one of the biggest consumer cultures in Southeast Asia which explains the large pop and emo scene two of todays most consumer oriented genres. Well hope you enjoyed todays spotlight on Thailand.
